Marisa was raised in Montesano, Washington and moved to Olympia after graduating from Western Washington University in 2015 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. Her business studies play a meaningful role in her day-to-day work, while her sociology focus on social stratification and race & ethnicity offers valuable perspective in an increasingly complex world. She played soccer for most of her childhood, including Select teams and on varsity for her high school.
She joined Pillar Financial Group in early 2016 working for her father and legacy advisor, Todd Lindley. She cherished the 9 years she got to work alongside her dad as it not only blossomed their relationship as father and daughter, but provided the special opportunity to learn and respect each other’s talents in a professional environment. Following Todd’s retirement in May 2025, Marisa transitioned to Zale Crawford’s team, where she continues her role as Practice Manager. In this capacity, she oversees a wide range of responsibilities including client service, event planning, website and social media management, and other operational needs. She is excited for this next chapter and the opportunities ahead with Zale’s team.
Marisa married Tom Cooke in September of 2023, and they currently live in Olympia with their border collie Luna, and tabby cat Loki. In their free time they enjoy visiting parks with their dog, hanging out with friends, playing board & video games, and being snuggled up on the couch with their fur-babies watching a good show.
