Keith joined Pillar Financial Group in 2016, bringing deep experience and a genuine passion for financial planning. Prior to Pillar Financial, he spent eight years at MetLife as Financial Planning Director, where he supported a team of 50 planners and managed between eight and fifteen client plans at any given time. His ability to balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution became a hallmark of his work.

Keith began his career at Bank of America in merchant services, where he worked for three years after graduating from Eastern Washington University with degrees in Management Information Systems and Operations Management. He later joined MetLife as a financial planner before advancing into leadership. Today at Pillar Financial Group, Keith continues to focus on what he enjoys most—helping clients build thoughtful, practical financial plans aligned with their lives.

As Spokane natives, Keith and his wife Kelly have strong roots in the community and plenty of family nearby. Kelly, also an Eastern Washington University graduate, is a second-grade teacher at Liberty Creek Elementary School. They have two sons: Mason, who lives and works in Spokane while completing his undergraduate degree, and Logan, who works in the investments industry after earning his Finance degree from Washington State University – Go Cougs!

Outside of work, the family embraces everything the Northwest has to offer, from skiing in the winter to swimming, boating, and lake days in the summer. They’re also enthusiastic fans of the WSU Cougars, Seattle Seahawks, and Gonzaga Bulldogs. Keith has known his business partner Chris Bafus since childhood, as their fathers were college roommates and remained lifelong friends.
