Katherine is from Aberdeen, Washington, where she returned to in 2009 after receiving her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu. While completing her degree in Hawaii, she also competed as a scholarship athlete on the NCAA Division II women's collegiate basketball team, before finishing her career playing for an off-season semi-professional international team in northern Italy.
Just a few months after moving back to the Pacific Northwest, Katherine started her business career as a receptionist for legacy advisor Todd Lindley. Over the next 17 years with Todd, her role expanded continuously, serving in multiple planning assistant capacities with Todd up until his retirement in May 2025. In this role she gained experience working with advisors to understand each client's goals, and taking the client-service lead in implementing what was necessary to ensure those goals were realized. Upon Todd’s retirement, Katherine joined Zale Crawford’s team as a lead Client Service Manager, and is also a registered representative having passed her FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities exams.
In 2015, Katherine adopted twin girls, Elisa and Eloisa, who have been the perfect addition to her larger extended family. She bought a “rehab fixer-upper” home in early 2019, completely gutting and rebuilding the interior along with many other projects undertaken by Katherine and her dad. It was a chaotic endeavor, but well worth the experience of living through and completing a remodel. In 2022, Katherine, Elisa, and Eloisa relocated to the Olympia area in an effort to be closer to the office and the girls’ new high school.
Elisa and Eloisa are now freshman in college (2025) studying Nursing at George Fox University and Arizona State University. Katherine is adjusting to being an empty-nester, but also enjoying the new found freedom in her schedule that no longer requires chauffeuring, attendance, or chaperoning of school and extracurricular activities. Although she still finds herself in the stands of many of her niece and nephew’s school and sporting events (which she loves!), she is excited to have more time to travel, pursue creative interests, and maybe even find another fixer-upper.
